Transform local fish waste into a durable, flexible leather using natural tanning methods.
Participants will prepare raw fish skins by hand, removing flesh and working them through a series of chemical-free steps to produce unique, textured material. The session introduces the cultural history and contemporary uses of fish leather, offering a tangible way to rethink waste streams while learning a practical preservation skill.
Participants will work with real fish skins, alongside Fishman, for a tactile, hands-on experience - not to be missed!
All materials included.
